After a journey of four long months, on 29th January, Saturday Bigg Boss season 15 finally came up with its winner. Among the top five finalists, Tejasswi Prakash was the one who won the Bigg Boss season 15 leaving behind the actor-model Pratik Sehajpal. Ms. Prakash took home the trophy of Bigg Boss 15 and prize money of Rs 40 lakhs.

The host of the Big Boss show, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan announced the TV actress Tejasswi Prakash as the winner of Bigg Boss season 15. Tejasswi Prakash, being the top contender of the show, was able to beat the other top four finalists. Pratik Sehajpal was the first runner up followed by Karan Kundra, Shamita Shetty and Nishant Bhat as second, third and final runner up respectively. Tejasswi was awarded with the trophy of Bigg Boss 15 and a prize money of Rs 40 lakhs for wining the show. While the remaining finalists were awarded with Rs 10 lakh each. Tejasswi Prakash hugged the trophy on the stage as she was delighted to win the title.

Other Highlights of the Finale
Along with the new winner of season 15 the finale of Bigg Boss also included former season winners named Urvashi Dholakia, Gauahar Khan, Rubina Dilaik, Gautam Gulati and Shweta Tiwari. Among these people, the show also included “Bigg Boss” 13 finalist Shehnaaz Gill who was seen paying tribute to Siddharth Shukla, her late partner who expired last year. The tribute made every person on the show emotional including the host, Salman Khan who hugged Shehnaaz and motivated her to move on in her life. Bollywood actress DeepikaPadukon was also a part of the Bigg Boss season 15 finale. She was there to promote her upcoming movie “Gehraiyaan” with her co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Pandey and Dhairya Karwa.

About her Journey
It was not at all surprising when Salman Khan announced Tejasswi’s name as the winner of Bigg Boss 15, as she had always been a strong contender. During the entire journey of the show, she has been a strong personality who never feared to voice her opinion. She always maintained her competetive spirit which lead her to this title. She also became fan favourite when she became couple with one of the contestants, Karan Kundra.

On her victory Tejasswi Prakash expressed her emotions saying, “When I entered the Bigg Boss house, everything seemed like a dream in the beginning. But as I started to settle in and understand the game, I was completely immersed in it and today when I look back, what an incredible journey it has been. It feels surreal to have finally won the trophy, but the real prize that I am taking home are the learnings and experiences. My deepest gratitude to everyone who has believed in me. Tejasswi’s Career
The 28 year old lady, Tejasswi Prakash had entered the show as a popular TV actor who was known for starring on “Swaragini- Jodein Rishton Ke Sur”. She has also been known for her excellent work in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka 2. After entering and winning Bigg Boss season 15, the fan following of the actress is surely gonna increase. During the finale of Bigg Boss 15 it was also revealed that Tejasswi will be playing the lead role in Naagin 6.
