Jayalalithaa was “Ammu” for MGR. Unfortunately, MJR was already married and 31 years older than her, yet she wanted to live with him. The MGR-Jaya pair became much popular. They did act in more than 40 movies together of which around 28 were blockbusters films.

There are a few scenes that showcase the pure and unconditional love between Jayalalithaa and MGR. Few years they both joined politics, because MGR-Jaya, both had strong personalities.
