American law professor recently made racist comments about Indians in the United States on National TV. According to reports, Amy Wax, a law professor at the University of Pennsylvania, insulted Indians, stating they were sceptical of everything the United States did, even while “their own country is a shithole.”
For a long time, racism has been a problem in the United States. Some individuals were good at bringing substantial changes to society that favoured people of different races through persistent protests and rallies. After decades, however, the problem appears to be the same.
Here is what Amy Wax said
Wax is heard telling in a video clip uploaded on Twitter, “Here’s the problem. They (Indian Brahmin women) are taught that they are superior to anyone else because they are Brahmin elites, but their nation is a shithole on certain levels.”
Wax referenced the caste system in India, and how Brahmins think they’re superior to those from other castes, in her words. She grouped all Indian immigrants into a single graph and referred to India as a “shithole.”
Wax said, there is simply a huge amount of hatred and guilt among non-western people for western peoples’ outsized achievements and achievements.
Wax continued, “It’s just awful.”

Fox News Host Tucker Carlson Accepts Wax’s Comments
Tucker Carlson in the show is also seen accepting her statements on criticizing Indians.
Her outrageous remarks were delivered live on Fox on Friday during a discussion with Tucker Carlson. At Penn Medicine, she chastised Asian and South Asian Indian doctors.
Nikki Mccann Ramrez uploaded a video of the interview on Twitter. “Penn Law professor Amy Wax tells Tucker Carlson that “Blacks” and other “non-western” groups carry “resentment, humiliation, and jealousy” against western people for their “outsized achievements and contributions,” according to the video’s caption.

Here is how People Reacted to Wax’s Racist Statement
On Twitter, the video has received over a million views. People were outraged by the law professor’s remarks and criticised her in the comments area.
People were enraged by the ludicrous interview. Amy Wax’s ‘white elitist propaganda’ was quickly condemned by the internet. Some even suggested that such notions from a college professor are one of the reasons for the rise in hate crime in the United States.
Hey Amy Wax @pennlaw, some of us Indian American docs @PennMedicine do our part to make America the great healthcare system you describe. So, yeah, we have the right to criticize it too.

"You don't come to someone's country and start attacking them," said @TuckerCarlson, a white American patriot.
Tucker, that is literally how America was founded. https://t.co/dGtX5J0KJA

Who is Amy Wax?
Amy Laura Wax, 63-year-old is a lawyering neurologist from the United States. At the University of Pennsylvania Law School, she is the Robert Mundheim Professor of Law. Her research focuses on social welfare legislation and practice, as well as the family-workplace relationship and labour markets.
This is not the first time Wax made racist comments
Wax has been demoralising people with her statements for years. She has questioned Black students’ intellectual aptitude, and in December she stated that the country would be better off with fewer Asians and less Asian immigration. Penn had previously criticized her statements and suspended her from teaching mandatory courses in 2018, but has refused to terminate her, citing academic freedom as a reason.
