This is the list of 23 Fake Universities in India as released by Universities Grants Commission.

The time of June to August are filled with the haste of finding a good university and applying for courses across the nation. Admissions are open across many universities and many students are applying without even properly researching about the background of the organisation.

To make things clearer and to help students avoid any chance of falling victim to fraudsters, University Grants Commission of India has issued a list of 23 universities from across the nation, which are in operation but are fake. The list was released on Tuesday. The major surprise is that most of these universities are in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

The list of the universities includes all types of universities viz open universities, women university, spiritual university, medical universities and many more.

Listed below are the lists of universities with their states. Kindly check the list properly and find out if any university is concerned to you in any manner.
