A TikTok influencer from Australia is earning Rs. 26 lakhs a month by giving people a special service. Jakey Boehm from Australia’s Gold Coast earns the whopping sum by letting people wake him up however they wish to do so. With 5,20,000 followers now in his kitty, the Australian lad has come up with a neat way to earn some extra dough, and boy, is he rolling in the dough.
To incentivize his followers into paying him, Jakey simply installed several speakers, lasers, bubble machine, and other peripherals in his room.
After having the new set up installed, he asked his followers to pay and then wake him up with any song they like. The song will be synced with a light show, which to any person waking up, will be incredibly annoying to say the least.
The TikTok influencer recently shared a TikTok clip which has garnered over 6.9 million views and has over 4,38,000 likes. The video shows Jakey waking up from his sleep at around 12.30 am with the bubble machine spewing bubbles, and a theme song playing loudly in the background.
Similarly, another video shows him being woken up by netizens at around 2 AM with dubstep music blasting loudly through speaker.
The Facts of the Matter
TikTok, YouTube, Twitch and similar video sharing platforms have recently opened the doors for people earning through nontraditional means. Earlier this year, we reported about a woman who made earned Rs. 38 lakhs a week by selling farts. In line with such reports, an Australia-based man, Jakey Boehm, was recently reported in a Mirror report to be earning as much as £28,000 (Rs 26 lakhs) a month. The Australian lad has found a unique way to earn dough – giving people a chance to wake him up however he wants, and asking payment for the same.
Lights, Bubbles, Lasers, Sound Effects
On TikTok, multiple videos show Jakey being woken from deep slumber by loud music and with a weird light show happening around him. In his interview to Mirror, Jakey said how he has lights, bubble machines, inflatables, laser rights, speakers and 20 sound effects set up in his room.
The sleep session that followers take a part in run for seven hours every night. Followers who want to join the fun and wake him up, have to buy a “gift” on TikTok.

“No regrets”
During his interview to Mirror, Jake said, “[I made] £35,000 last month. This month will be a lot higher. It’s life-changing and has changed my life forever. Zero regrets.”
Jakey has over 5,20,000 followers on TikTok, several of whom buy gifts for him and take part in the fun. In one of the videos, that has garnered over 6.9 million views, Jakey can be seen waking up from his slumber with an inflatable boll and bubbles.
In another video, he is seen being woken up from sleep at around 2 AM with speakers blaring dubstep music.
