According to reports, TMC MP & Actress Nusrat Jahan has welcomed a baby boy. An India Today report confirmed that the actress mother and her new baby boy are both doing well and are healthy. On August 25, Nusrat was taken to the Neotia Hospital, Kolkata as her due date was approaching. Interestingly enough, Yash Dasgupta, who’s often been linked with the actress MP to be having romantic relation, drove her to the hospital.

It’s time to paint the small baby room in blue and let the blue balloons float. On August 26, actress and TMC Member of Parliament Nusrat Jahan was blessed with her first child – a baby boy. The good news comes months after Nusrat was in a controversy storm after she claimed the marriage with her husband Nikhil Jain void.
Earlier on August 25, Nusrat was driven to the Neotia Hospital by none other than popular Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta. She had already visited another hospital in Park Street region for a regular check-up the same day.

Yash Dasgupta was with Nusrat During Delivery
According to an India Today report, Nusrat and her new baby boy are both doing well and the baby boy came out of her mother’s womb healthy. Interestingly, it’s also been reported that Yash Dasgupta was by Nusrat’s side when she was going through the delivery.
On the day of her delivery, Nusrat also took to Instagram to share a simple picture of her looking at a distant with a hopeful glance. In the picture, she wrote the caption – “Faith Over Fear ❤️ #positivity #morningvibes.

Who’s Nusrat Dasgupta?
Nusrat’s delivery with Yash Dasgupta confirms all the rumours which label the duo as a romantic couple. For the unversed, Yash Dasgupta is also a politician and Bengali actor. While Nusrat is a TMC MP, Yash was declared a BJP candidate earlier this year ahead of the West Bengal Assembly Elections. Dasgupta’s political ambitions were halted after he faced a defeat by TMC’s Swati Khandoker who won the seat by a margin of 41,347 votes.
Known for his roles in Na Aana is Des Laado, Dasgupta has often been linked for being Nusrat’s romantic partner. In an interview, he was asked how he felt after he joint a rival party of her close friend Nusrat Jahan. To this, Dasgupta gave a cryptic reply and said, “At home do family members not have different opinions?”
When asked what he means family and whether it’s like a family of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, he gave another cryptic response and said, “No, Akshay & Twinkle are married. Nusrat and I aren’t. But you get the drift!”

“Not My Child”: Nusrat’s Ex-Husband Nikhil Jain
Amid all the rumours around Nusrat and Yash’s relationship, one should also remember that Nusrat’s ex-husband Nikhil Jain, with whom she separated earlier this year, had claimed that the baby was not his. According to ABP Ananda, Nikhil had reportedly said that he wasn’t aware of Nusrat’s pregnancy and further said that the child wasn’t his as he and Nusrat haven’t been in contact for months.
