In today’s trailer talk, let’s talk about Akshay Kumar & Kriti Sanon’s Bachchhan Pandey. The film’s trailer dropped today and the film looks like a promising crime drama with plenty of rib-tickling humour staple for recent films that starred Kumar.
Both Sanon and Kumar took to Instagram and shared the first glimpse of their upcoming film that is scheduled to release on March 18, 2022. The film’s premise is set around a documentary maker Myra (played by Sanon) who wants to make a movie on a goon Bachchhan Pandey (played by Kumar).
The film also stars Arshad Warsi, who has earlier received acclaim for playing supporting role in films like Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. In this film, Warsi’s character will be assisting Myra in her thrilling albeit fun journey. The trailer has received positive responses from fans, who were caught pleasantly surprised by the Munna Bhai MBBS references in the dialogues.

After successfully marking his presence on the big screen with Sooryavanshi and claiming is territory on OTT with Atarangi Re, Akshay Kumar is back with a bang. He’s ready to once again show his ‘bad guy with golden heart’ side in the upcoming film Bachchhan Pandey.
The film is directed by Farhad Samji, who has earlier collaborated with Kumar in Houseful 4. the film also stars Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi. On Friday, both Kumar and Sanon took to their social media accounts and dropped the trailer for the fans.

Trailer Shows Bachchhan Pandey’s Dark Side
The trailer shows Bachchhan Pandey, played by an intense looking Akshay Kumar, as a Godfather like character. Without divulging much, the trailer shows his Bachchhan’s dark side where he doesn’t think twice to take someone out when they get in his way.
Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Pandey possesses one eye made out of stone, which adds to the chilling effect the filmmaker wants the viewers to feel.
Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi – A Jodi Unlike Ever Before
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon plays Myra, a documentary maker who gets inspired to make a documentary on the life and time of Bachchhan Pandey. She is assisted by Vishu, played by the ever-so-hilarious Arshad Warsi.
Thus, Vishu and Myra set on a journey to reach Bachchhan Pandey and capture his different shades. But they must get through myriad of characters that will be played by a strong supporting cast including Sanjay Mishra, Prateik Babbar and more.
