In a jaw-dropping development, a UFO was seen hurling near US Navy Ship before it disappeared into the ocean. The unidentified flying object surprised the viewers as it was not keeping up just one speed. You can watch the video of the footage here. According to reports, the video taken somewhere off the coast of San Diego in US at the Combat Information Centre of the USS Omaha, a combat ship.
It should be noted that although this video was first taken in 2017, its garnering a lot of frenzy by space exploration and UFO enthusiasts after it being shared by Jeremy Corbell on May 14. Corbell is an investigative filmmaker who has previously worked with Bob Lazar, an Area 51 conspiracy theorist.
Corbell took to Twitter and wrote, “The US Navy photographed & filmed “spherical” shaped UFOs & advanced trans medium vehicles; here is some of that footage. Filmed in the Combat Information Center of the USS Omaha / July 15th 2019 / warning area off San Diego @ 11pm PST. No wreckage found. No craft were recovered.”

6ft in diameter with solid mass. Speeds up to 158 mph
On Corbell’s official website ‘extraordinarybeliefs’, he gave several other details pertaining to the UFO. Corbell stated that the flying object was minimum 6 ft in diameters and was of solid mass. Interestingly, unlike most UFOs that had a consistent speed, this one varied its speed from 40 mph to 158 mph.
Self-illuminated, no launching or landing point discovered
The object lasted in the sky for more than an hour and it was self-illuminated. Corbell’s website also stated that the object’s origin, launching point and landing pad was never determined. Further, this object was also picked up by two types of radar system.
Object descended into water without being destroyed
Arguably, the most interesting claim came in the form of Corbell stating that the object was trans medium capable (can be used on air, land on water) and when it descended into the water, it was not destroyed.
Corbell’s report concluded with-
“We do not know what, if anything, the Navy or Pentagon might be willing to say about the USS Omaha incident, but we are confident the incident is a legitimate mystery and look forward to whatever information might be forthcoming.”
Reports are also stating that the Pentagon has not denied the legitimacy of the footage and said that the footage has been sent to Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force (UAPTF) for further investigation.
Increase in UFO Sightings in 2020
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, frequency of UFO sightings have seen a sharp surge. According to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), UFO sightings in US has over taken 2019 by about 1,000 more sightings. In 2020, the total number of UFO sightings stood as high as 7,200. The NUFORC stated that such a sharp increase could be attributed to the fact that more people were forced to stay in.
The sightings’ frequency was the highest in March & April 2020, just when the US had imposed lockdown measures at several states. In New York City, UFO sightings soared as high as 31% against 2019.
Pentagon Confirms existence of UFOs
2020 was also an important year for the UFO phenomenon as US’ Department of Defence confirmed the existence of UFO. The Pentagon in April released multiple videos of unidentified flying objects which were shot by naval aviators. In the videos, objects can be seen soaring in the sky. The video is extremely cinematic in that it also contains the voices of awe-struck pilots in the background.
After these videos were shared, people believing in the extraterrestrial thumped their chest in glory as it was the ultimate confirmation, they needed to shut the skeptics up.
However, the Pentagon never confirmed or denied any of the theories around these videos that were shot in 2004 and 2014. Susan Gough, Pentagon spokeswoman said, “The Navy has confirmed that the three videos that are in wide circulation are indeed recordings made by naval aviators, the Navy has always considered the phenomena observed in those videos as unidentified.”
