In a heartwarming news, an unwell men apologized to a restaurant for placing his order late. However, the restaurant sent him free food and also sent a personal note to him. The kind gesture went viral recently after it emerged on Reddit’s thread called ‘made me smile’.

In the thread, the restaurant owner shared the details of an order that was placed just a few minutes before the restaurant was to shut shop. The person who had placed to order had written that he was sorry for placing the order late as he had woken up late due to being unwell. While most restaurants would’ve not accepted the order, this particular restaurant accepted it, and went one step beyond duty.

Background

Kindness goes a long way, and sometimes, it even helps you get viral on internet. While being kind is a reward in itself, going viral certainly doesn’t hurt. Not only does it incentivize good behaviour among others, but it also acknowledges and appreciates a person’s good deed.

Earlier this month, a woman went viral after she stopped her performance and gave man some money who was rummaging the trashcan for some food. The woman was instantly rewarded for her good deed. A man put double the money the woman gave in her donation box.

A similar act of kindness is making the rounds of internet where a restaurant owner did above and beyond the duty.

The customer had also added in the order note that he was unwell and had just woken up due to the same. The customer also apologized for ordering so late. While most restaurants would’ve not accepted the order, the restaurant showed that humanity must triumph all.

The restaurant accepted the order and further gave the unwell men some free garlic bread to make him feel better. Further, the restaurant also added a personal hand-written note to make the customer’s bad day a tad-bit better.

“A couple days ago someone ordered 14 mins before closing time and wrote a note to us. I wrote one back and gave them a free garlic bread and a couple hours ago while working, I found out they left a review about it :). Was pretty happy for the rest of the shift,” the title of the post read.
