In a horrific incident reported from Uttar Pradesh, a teen girl was sent to juvenile home, after she confessed to axing her parents to death over her violent behaviour. The deceased couple was found dead outside their home nearly two weeks ago, and the police have been working tirelessly to solve the case. On Tuesday, they made a shocking breakthrough when the teenager confessed to the heinous crime.
According to officials, the girl was tired of the violent behavior of her parents towards her and hated the toxic atmosphere at home. Her mother would often beat her up, and the teenager claimed that her mother was having an affair with another man. Fed up with the abuse, the girl decided to take matters into her own hands.
Using a pack of sleeping pills she had acquired from a youth and a shop owner, the girl mixed them into her parents’ drinks before killing them with an axe. The police were able to crack the case by examining the girl’s mobile phone and piecing together the evidence. They also arrested the youth who provided the pills and the shop owner who sold them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Meanwhile, a conflicting report from TOI stated that the girl committed the crime as her parents barred her from talking to boys.
The Facts of the Matter
It was a calm night in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh when a gruesome crime shook the entire community. A couple had been found axed to death outside their residence, leaving everyone in shock and the police scratching their heads for clues. But nearly two weeks later, a breakthrough came when the police detained the couple’s 15-year-old daughter who had confessed to the double murder.
Teen was Tired of Parents’ Violent Behaviour
As the news spread, rumors began to fly about the troubled family and the possible motives behind the heinous crime. It was revealed that the teenager had grown tired of the violent behavior of her parents towards her, and the toxic environment at home had pushed her to the brink. Her mother would frequently beat her up and had even engaged in an illicit relationship with another man, further fueling the young girl’s rage.

Girl Laced Parents’ Food with Sleeping Pills
The teenager had hatched a plan to get rid of her parents and had managed to procure sleeping pills from a youth who had arranged it with a shop owner. On the night of the murder, she had laced her parents’ food with the pills before attacking them with an axe. The couple, who used to sleep outside their house, died on the spot while their daughter calmly went back to bed.
Investigation Ensues
As an investigation ensued, the police found that the teenager had been communicating with a man from December, asking him to procure sleeping pills, but he had refused. However, two days prior to the murder, the young girl had managed to obtain a pack of 20 pills and had successfully carried out her plan.
The cops were also able to recover the axe used in the murder, which had been hidden in a heap of fodder in the house.
Conflicting Reports on Accused Teen’s Motives
The young girl had also informed the police that her father’s brother had killed his wife and two daughters in a similar fashion in 2021, which had given her the idea to get rid of her parents.
It should be noted that there are conflicting reports as to why the 15-year-old committed the crime. As per a TOI report, the girl axed her parents to death as they stopped her from talking to boys.
