On 3rd February, a customer of the Bank of India, Nadiad branch violently attacked one of the bank’s employees in connection with a loan application. A case has been filed under the SC-ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act) at the Nadiad Town Police Station.

The incident happened at the Nadiad branch of Bank of India. The bank staffer has been identified as Manish Dhangar, who handles the loan desk. In his complaint, Dhangar said to police

“On Friday afternoon, a customer named Samarth Brahmbhatt reached the branch and started beating me. He slapped me three to four times, and even kicked me. When the other staff tried to intervene, Samarth’s friend Parth, who was accompanying him, kicked me.”
