The video of employees of Indian Edtech company Coding Ninjas being locked in their office is going viral on social media. The 34-second clip shows the building’s doors chained and guarded, prompting Ravi Handa a twitter user to comment, “Nowhere else would anyone dare to pull off something like this.” Yet, Ankush Singla, the company’s co-founder, revealed that the incident only lasted for 10-15 minutes and resulted from a misguided action by a sales leader, which he regrets. He emphasized that this should not have occurred and that they corrected it straight away.

The business expressed that the action was unintentional. “We have endeavored over the past 7 years to build this business with our hearts and with the intention to close India’s skill gap. It is unfortunate to observe this occurrence. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” they said.
