The video of a deer eating a snake that was shared on social media has gained a lot of attention. Susanta Nanda, an IFS officer, commented on the video, “Cameras are allowing us to gain a better grasp of the natural world. Herbivores do occasionally eat snakes.” Parveen Kaswan, another IFS officer, remarked, “It seems as if the deer was disoriented. I didn’t learn about ecology in school.”
