At Indian Petrol Pump on Chitavad Road to Navlakha in Indore, a fire broke out in the tank of the bus being filled with diesel at around 2.30 pm on Sunday afternoon. Driver Kapil, who was standing there, was badly burned and ran away from the scene.

The conductor, showing understanding, quickly called the passengers off the bus and took it away from the petrol pump, but not before he was also injured. The bus was completely destroyed in the fire. Driver Kapil and conductor Ramakrishna have been admitted to the hospital with 40 per cent burns for Kapil.

A Big Accident Averted Thanks to Conductor

Thanks to the quick-thinking of bus conductor Ramakrishna, a serious accident was avoided. When the fire broke out, he asked the passengers to disembark and then drove the bus away from the petrol pump. As soon as it reached a safe distance, flames began to erupt from the vehicle. Ramakrishna also managed to get out in time before the bus was engulfed in the blaze and destroyed. Unfortunately, he suffered burns to his face and hands in the incident.
