In a recently gone viral video, the ugly scenes from the Pakistan VS Afghanistan match came to surface where unruly Afghan fans were seen hitting each other with chair after loss. On September 7, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 1 wicket with 4 balls to spare. While the encounter was thrilling, the conduct of Afghanistan fans remained objectionable, to say the least.

In a video gone viral, a group of Afghanistan fans can be seen pulling out the stadium chairs meant for spectators and throwing them on Pakistani fans. The Afghan fans were enraged to a point that they were throwing the chairs aimlessly. Meanwhile, some fans were seen crawling and ducking for cover as chairs were being hurled from multiple sides of the stadium.

Further, if purported videos are to be believed, fans from both the sides engaged in a vicious brawl outside the stadium. One of the videos of the altercation between fans was shared by former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar on Twitter.

“This is what Afghan fans are doing. This is what they’ve done in the past multiple times. This is a game and it’s supposed to be played and taken in the right spirit.@ShafiqStanikzai your crowd & your players both need to learn a few things if you guys want to grow in the sport,” he tweeted.

For a relatively weaker side, Afghanistan cricket team fought tooth and nail against their Pakistani counterparts, only to have victory taken away from them in the last over.
