Vidyut Jammwal couldn’t keep calm after he was listed in Google search’s ‘Top Martial Artists of the World’ on May 29. The tall and sturdy 40-year-old actor took to twitter and shared a screenshot which showed him in the list of the top martial artists. It was indeed a proud moment for Jammwal and his fans as he was listed along the likes of martial artists such as legendary actor Jackie Chan, the father and promoter of martial arts, Bruce Lee and others.

On May 29, Vidyut Jammwal took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a Google Search in which he was ranked as the Top Martial Artists in the World. Jammwal in his tweet wrote, Jai Hind and added the hashtag #Kalaripayattu.

Born and brought up in Jammu Kashmir, Jammwal hails from an army family. His father was an Indian Army officer and his mother ran a Kalaripayattu training center in Kerala where Jammwal started training at a young age of just 3 years.

From such a young age to adolescent to his youth years, Jammwal travelled to many countries to receive martial arts training in multiple self-defence forms. His big break came in 2011 when he was starred opposite John Abraham in the film ‘Force’. In the film Jammwal played a villain and his performances won the hearts of critics owing to which he won the Filmfare Awards for the Best Male Debut.

He displayed his self-defense fluidity and strength in ‘Commando: A One-Man Army’. The film was adored by Jammwal fans who were astonished at the actor’s feat of doing his own stunts. He will be seen next in another action-packed film Sanak.
