While the internet is filled with trolls spewing hatred, a viral homework video of a 6-year-old J&K girl appealing to Prime Minister Modi won the hearts of Twitteratis and also got L-G’s attention. The video has so far gotten over 5.75 lakh views at the time of publishing this article, has an adorable student who complained to Prime Minister Modi about the burden of the homework.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put several millions of students across the world on an edge. Some students are unable to deal with the anxiety caused by the pandemic, some have not been able to adapt to the online way of learning. Students of higher-secondary classes have already raised their concern on the conducting of 12 and 10 boards.

But perhaps one of the most adorable complaint came in the form of a Jammu & Kashmir girl who is just 6 years old. In the video, which has gone viral across the microblogging platform Twitter, the girl can be heard saying-

“Main jab 10 baje uthti hu, 2 baje tak hoti hai class (I wake up at 10 am and till 2 there are classes).”

The girl then continues with her adorable complaint and says-

“First there’s English, then there’s Mathematics, then Urdu, then EVS, then computer.”

“Chhote bacchon ko itna kaam kyun Modi Saab”

She also appeals direcltly to Prime Minister Modi and asks him-

“Chhote bacchon ko itna kaam kyun dete ho Modi Saab? (Why have you burdened us small kids with so much homework, PM Modi).”

The child from J&K concludes the video saying-

“Ab kya kar sakte hai Assalamualaikum, Modi Sahab, Bye (What else can be done, Assalamualaikum Mr. Modi, Bye).”

6-year-old’s complaint reaches J&K L-G Manoj Sinha, Pledges policy change

Although her small 45 second video couldn’t quite reach the Indian Prime Minister, it did catch the attention of Jammu & Kashmir’s Lieutenant-General Manoj Sinha. Mr. Sinha not only responded to the girl’s complaint, but also issued relevant directives to the J&K school education department to form a policy which sees the reduction of burden and present it within 48 hours.

Mr. Sinha took to Twitter and wrote, “Very adorable complaint. Have directed the school education department to come out with a policy within 48 hours to lighten burden of homework on school kids. Childhood innocence is gift of God and their days should be lively, full of joy and bliss.”

Not only did the small video catch the attention of J&K L-G, but since its upload, it has received close to 6 lakh views, close to 30 thousand likes and almost 6,700 re-tweets. The video has won hearts of the netizens who can’t stop going gaga over the kid’s adorable complaint and commented the following things.
