In a viral video that’s sure to put a smile on the face of anyone watching, a JNU security guard was caught shaking his foot on famous ‘Julie Julie’ song. Netizens claimed that something like this is ‘only possible at JNU’. The video was shared by the official Twitter handle of JNU Round Table. In the video, the security guard can be seen expressing his unexplored side and grooves to the song with some amazing steps. Meanwhile, the video has showed people around him motivating him by applauding and cheering for him. The tweet was appropriately captioned with – “The Art of an artist never dies”.

The Facts of the Matter

India is a land filled with talented individuals who in the pursuit of daily bread pick up odd jobs. While some of them let their talent disappear over the course of years, some keep the flame burning. And when these people display their talent, they stun everyone around them. In one such incident, a security guard from Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) showed his dancing side and shocked the netizens.

What Does the Video Show?

According to reports, the security guard works at the prestigious JNU campus. In the video now gone viral, the guard can be seen dancing to the popular dance song ‘Julie Julie’ from the film Jeetey Hai Shaan Se.

While the song is from a film released in 1987, the security guard’s modern steps and hip-hop moves modernized the song and gave it a new twist. The entire performance is happening at what seems to be a rehersall hall at the JNU.

What makes the video re-watchable is the fact that the security guard was thoroughly enjoying the dancing. His beaming face and expressions matching his steps can make anyone’s bad day better. The dance is contagious enough that students join him with applause, hooting and cheering.

Netizens React To JNU Dancing Security Guard

On December 7, JNU Round Table took to Twitter and uploaded the video with the caption, “The Art of an artist never dies!!!!….Dance of JNU security guard ji”. The video has since gone viral and has been watched closed to thirty thousand times on Twitter.

The netizens on Twitter, that are sometimes labelled too harsh and negative, reacted to the video in a positive way.

Elderly Man Dances to ‘Oo Oo Jaane Jaana’, Goes Viral

Earlier last month, a video of an elderly man dancing on Salman Khan’s popular Oo Oo Jaane Jaana went viral. The video was shared by a popular Instagram creator who also ends up dancing with the elderly man. The video which was shared earlier in November, has been viewed over 5 million times on Instagram.

Not All Displays of Talent Are Appreciated

While most displays of talents are appreciated, some, not so much. Earlier this year, a woman in Indore took to one of the busiest squares in the down to perform a dance, and shared the video on Instagram. However, not only she received flak from the netizens, she was also given a notice by the Indore’s traffic police.
