In a video recently gone viral, a man on scooter was seen snatching a woman’s phone, however, later the phone-snatcher turned out to be the woman’s boyfriend!
Mobile phone, purse, and chain snatchings have been a menace in several cities across the nation. Thieves, who are out to make an easy buck out of a poor victim usually use a speeding vehicle to snatch people of their valuables. This is more common for women, who often wear valuable jewellery and are seen getting duped off by snatchers who appear like a storm and disappear like a gust of wind.
A similar incident was recently shared on Instagram, visuals of which have since gone viral. The undated video as first shared on Instagram by a page called ‘hyderabad_merejaan’ with a caption that read – “The ending was totally unexpected”.
With over 5.5 million views, the video shows a girl walking while talking on her cellphone when a man in red scooter snatches the phone. Another man on a motorcycle sees the ordeal and gives the snatcher a chase.
The snatcher is soon brought to the girl, who instantly recognizes him and reveals that he’s her boyfriend. Many netizens were left amused on the incident while some took to the comment section and claimed that the incident was scripted.
The Facts of the Matter
The internet has no dearth of weird, fascinating, and often – downright hilarious videos. While some of those videos are footages of CCTV or come thanks to courtesy of a person with camera, others are scripted.
Recently, a video making rounds of social media has been able to tickle the funny bone of netizens for its shocking beginning and funny ending. The video shows a woman’s phone being snatched by a man on a scooter. However, it is later revealed that the man is actually the woman’s boyfriend.
What Does the Video Show?
In the video, a girl can be seen walking while using her phone. Out of nowhere, a man in red scooter appears and he snatches the woman’s phone and speeds away. Another man on motorcycle, who witnesses the ordeal, decides to give the phone snatcher a chase.
The camera than shifts to the POV of the man chasing the phone snatcher. The man catches the phone snatcher and brings him to the girl who is seen sitting and crying. However, much to the surprise of the man who caught the snatcher, the girl reveals that the snatcher is her boyfriend!
