These are a few snapshots of the damning leaked WhatsApp chats between BARC CEO & #ArnabGoswami. They show many conspiracies&unprecedented access to power in this govt; gross abuse of his media&his position as power broker. The chats offer insight into the situation regarding Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami’s proximity with the PMO and other members of the government as well. The chats also offer damning evidence in Goswami’s malpractices in TRP manipulation and Goswami seeking help from the ruling party.
The massive 500-page PDF begins with a disclaimer that the case is filed with the Kandivali Police with signatures on each page. The massive document carries WhatsApp chats that begin in July 2019 and extends till mid-October 2019.

The topics cover a huge gamut, from remarks about Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti to comments about how Arnab’s channel has gotten its hands-on news topics ahead of its competitors.
Since this is a document that covers the personal messages between BARC CEO and Goswami, there’s no dearth in name-calling. In one such message, BARC CEO Dasgupta calls the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar “useless”.
In another message that provides damning evidence of Goswami’s proximity to political leaders, Goswami says “all ministers are with us.” There are chats that also show Goswami assuring Dasgupta that PMO is in their aid. In one such message, Dasgupta sent a confidential letter to Goswami saying he had jammed the News Broadcasters Association. To which, Goswami replied that he might meet Prime Minister regarding the matter.
There are messages that indicate that Dasgupta told Goswami that the TRAI’s reform to measure TV viewership using special software might politically hurt the Republic channel and BJP. Goswami’s alleged chat also shows the BARC CEO asking Goswami to use his political influence and sabotage the TRAI reform.
Arnab Goswami’s alleged chats with Dasgupta is leaked the same day when Bombay High Court adjourned the hearing of the TRP Scam case.
Meanwhile, as it always happens, Twitter is full of independent journalists sharing screenshots of the alleged WhatsApp chats and sharing their opinions.
SHOCKING
This is how Arnab Goswami reacted when Arun Jaitley was on his death bed. No wonder this person has not even a bit of empathy.
