Popular television and film actor Mukesh Khanna’s regressive comments on women recently drew flak when the actor mentioned that if a woman asks to have sex with a man, “wo dhanda kar rahi hai”. For the unversed, Mukesh is best known for acting in popular children’s superhero show ‘Shaktimaan’, and also played the character of Bhishma in BR Chopra’s Mahabharat.

The actor often shares objectionable remarks on his YouTube channel ‘Bheeshm International’. In a recent video, titled ‘Kya Aapko Bhi Aisi Ladkiyan Lubhati Hain’, the actor goes on to make multiple regressive remarks over women in India.

Aap usme bhaagidaar mat baniye,” the actor said.

The actor’s statement can be roughly translated as – If a woman asks a man, she wants to have sex with him, then that girl is a sex worker. A woman who belongs to a good society won’t say such a shameless thing. Don’t play a part in it.
