A romance spanning multiple countries unfolded when Kim Boh-nee, a young woman from South Korea, embarked on a journey to meet her significant other, Sukhjeet Singh, in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur in India. Their love story started two years earlier in a South Korean coffee shop.

Singh had been working in the café for 6 years when he met Kim, who joined the coffee shop as a cashier.

From friendship, their relationship blossomed into romance.

However, their relationship faced a significant challenge when Singh had to travel back to India for half a year. Kim couldn’t bear the distance and decided to travel to India, reaching Delhi first and then to Shahjahanpur with some help from a friend to reunite with Singh. Their heartfelt reunion at Singh’s home brought waves of joy to their families.

A couple of days back, Sukhjeet got married to his Korean girlfriend in a gurdwara. His plan is to eventually move and live with his wife in Korea.

His wife, Kim Boh Ni, is currently visiting India on a tourist visa. In about a month’s time, she will head back to her country of origin. After a gap of three months, Sukhjeet plans to join her in South Korea, according to a report by Live Hindustan. The wedding has brought immense joy to Surjeet’s family.

Though his mother would prefer for Kim to remain in India, she values her son’s happiness above all else. Kim, the new South Korean member of the family, has a fondness for Indian traditions and culture. Apart from expressing her love for Sukhjeet, she often voices her adoration for India.
