Has Delhi become the crime capital of India?

In the recent past, a 30-year-old woman was gangraped by 3 men in auto at the Ghaziabad-Hapur border. As per the police, the FIR which was filed on Thursday reported that the woman was abducted and raped by the men after she took an auto from Ghaziabad to go to her home in Noida.

A 17-year-old boy was admitted to AIIMS Trauma Centre after being beaten by three boys in Kalkaji area on objecting to his sister’s chase and making indecent remarks.  Five people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Why is it that people who are stopping wrong things from happening are the ones who are dragged into such harmful situations wherein they either end up being in hospital or sometimes dead.

Nowadays, these incidents have become very normal in Delhi. But the question arises why the administration doesn’t take major steps and strict actions to prevent these kinds of incidents?

Is Delhi really safe for women? It’s high time to ask this to authority.
