An unpredictable rise in black and white fungus cases, which is caused by the spread of environmental moulds and unhygienic conditions. But there’s now a new developing danger, much fatal than black or white fungus, it is called yellow fungus infection. The first case has been found in UP.
What is yellow fungus? And the information we know till now
According to the medical experts, yellow fungus infection, fatal than the two other infections, could be much riskier because of the way in which it affects the body’s internal organs. It is said that yellow fungus starts evolving internally, causes pus leakage, slow paced healing of wounds, and, in serious cases, can also cause devastating symptoms such as organ failure and acute necrosis.
Therefore, it remains chaotic and nearly impossible that patients can seek help for their infection as soon as they start observing symptoms. According to the exclusive reports, the first and prime case of yellow fungus infection has been confirmed in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
While not much information is available about the case found and the infection in general, but, doctors have warned that yellow fungus can be much more dangerous than black and white fungus.
Causes of the Yellow Fungus
The major causes which listed are unsanitary conditions, poor hygiene, contaminated resources (including food), or overuse of steroids, antibacterial medications or poor oxygen usage. Patients who are struggling with comorbidities or are using immunity-suppressing medications are at a greater risk for catching the infection.
