Devraj Patel, famed for the ‘dil se bura lagta hai bhai’ meme, passed away after being involved in a vehicle accident in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed his sorrow on the loss of a young and talented individual and posted a tweet that includes a video of Devraj. The tweet said, “Devraj Patel, who made us all laugh with “Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai”, has left us today. The passing of such an incredible talent at this young age is truly heartbreaking. Here’s to offering prayers for his family and loved ones to get through this tough time. Om Shanti.”

Mr Patel tragically passed away after his bike was struck by a truck in the Labhandih region of Raipur on Monday. He sustained severe trauma to his head and other areas of his body and was rushed to a medical centre, however he could not be saved.
