In a horrific incident reported from Nagpur, Maharashtra, a 17-year-old girl reportedly took help of her friend to behead her female friend. The accused then went on to leave the victim’s disrobed body so that the victim couldn’t be identified.
The accused and her accomplice committed the horrific crime on April 4, at a desolate spot that came between Bhadrawati to Telwasa. The victim’s age or name has not yet been confirmed and is reported to be a Ramtek resident. Her identity was only established thanks to a scar that was on her left hand. Although the police seized a phone charger, headphone and shoes at the scene of the crime, they couldn’t find the victim’s phone, which was taken away by the accused. According to the accused’s confession, the three involved in the matter had a heated argument, following which the accused and her male friend stabbed the victim and strangulated her to death.
It was also revealed that the accused and the victim used to share a room together and the victim would often ridicule or offend the accused girl.
The Facts of the Matter
A below-the-belt banter, a ridiculing comment, an insulting remark, often these things can corrode the mind of a person who’s on its receiving end. At times, we turn a blind eye to the fact that our words can impact someone to a point that they lash out, often with violence. Recently, in Maharashtra, a minor girl reacted violently to an old tiff she had between her and her friend.
The Nagpur police recently arrested a 17-year-old girl who with her male friend, murdered a girl brutally, severing her head and leaving her naked at the crime scene. The accused girl reportedly beheaded the victim and made sure that they leave the victim’s body disrobed at the crime scene to make sure the police couldn’t identify the victim, and eventually lose trail on the case.

How the Victim’s Body was Identified?
According to a TOI report, the victim is a Ramtek resident. Initially it became a challenge for the police to identify the girl, as her head was severed. However, the police saw a suture scar on her left hand and spread the victim’s pictures on social media. Soon an acquaintance came forward and the accused was identified.
Meanwhile, based on the inputs acquired by the acquaintance that identified the victim’s body, the police also located the cell phone of the victim. It was revealed that the accused had taken the victim’s phone away as well.
The police were able to finally nab the accused based on the last call she made to the victim. During the questioning the accused shed some gory details about what truly transpired between her and the victim. Reportedly, the victim had earlier insulted the minor accused and to avenge herself, the accused hatched a conspiracy to murder the victim.
On April 4, the accused and her male friend asked the victim to meet them for some work. They then took the victim to a spot between Bhadrawati and Telswasa road where the accused stabbed the victim twice and strangulated her to death.

Minor Accused Spoke to Victim’s Family After Murdering her
The accused also stole the victim’s phone and for the next few days, they used to communicate to the victim’s family, evading any chances of actually speaking on call. They told the accused’s family that as her phone needed repairing, she wouldn’t be able to speak.
