Background
According to the Higher Education Statistics Agency, over six-hundred thousand international students are currently pursuing their education in UK. Back in 2019, there were 5,38,615 international students pursuing their degrees. 1,42,985 students out of them belonged to the EU while remaining belonged to the none-EU countries. While Chinese students account to the most number of non-EU students, they are followed by Indian students (52,545 students).
With thousands of students making their way to UK every year, its often seen that these students stick with each other, make them feel a part of a larger Indian community, and help during a crisis.
However, often an isolated event occurs that proves that a fickle and dangerous mind doesnโt belong to any nationality or religion or ethnic background.
