In a shocking incident caught on cam, some girls from a school in Bengaluru engaged in a vicious brawl on a street over a boy. What followed was purported screenshots of conversation between the girls, and some netizens even alleging that the massive brawl broke out because of a boy named Yogesh. According to reports, the incident transpired near the Vittal Mallya Road in Bengaluru. No official word has emerged yet as to which school the girls belong from, or the exact day when the incident transpired.

In the video gone viral, two groups of girls can be seen fighting with each other viciously allegedly over a boy. While some of the girls involved in the brawl are wearing school uniform, others are seen dressed in civil clothes.

As the video progresses, the fight gets increasingly violent. While one girl can be seen taking other girl’s hair and flinging her to the pavement, other girls can be seen kicking, punching and clawing each other with no mercy.

The video of the fight has garnered thousands of views so far. There is no confirmation as to whether a police complaint has been raised in the matter or not.

There was a time in media reporting where reports of women fighting each other were automatically branded under the label of “catfights”. Thanks to the wave of modern feminism, the term has been disappearing, as it’s been argued that it ‘trivializes’ the arguments between women.

Recently, some school girls on the street of Bengaluru engaged in a brawl so intense and ferocious, that not many would call the brawl a “catfight” to trivialize the fight and the aftermath that followed.

According to reports, the incident shown in the undated video transpired near the Vittal Mallya Road in Bengaluru. Rumours on social media are rife with speculations as to what caused such an intense brawl between the school girls.

What Does the Video Show?

The video gone viral shows several girls in a full-blown brawl, violently slapping, shoving, kicking each other. They are also seen pulling each other’s hair and thrashing each other with any means possible. The matters escalate when one girl flings another girl by her hair and slams her own a pavement. The girl falls on the pavement and then slams on the nearby railing.

Meanwhile, somehow a baseball bat emerges and is passed around by girls to smack each other. As the brawl continues, one can see traffic forming on the other side of the road with people in vehicle gob smacked at the ordeal.

Netizens Allege Incident Happened Over Yogesh

It should be noted that it’s still unconfirmed as to which school these girls belonged to. However, netizens have alleged that the girls involved in the Bengaluru brawl study at the Bishop Cotton Girls School. Further, some netizens have also speculated that the brawl happened over a boy named Yogesh

Allegations and speculation were enough for netizens on Twitter to run with the theory that the fight indeed broke out because of a boy named Yogesh. Twitter has been since flooded with memes on who Yogesh is and what was it about Yogesh that made these girls fight among themselves so viciously.
