In a horrific incident reported from Bengaluru, a man brutally stabbed his wife of 15 years in front of his own kids suspecting that she acted in adult movies. The accused of the incident has been identified as 40-year-old Jaheer Pasha while the victim has been identified as 35-year-old Mubeena.
Reports state that the accused is a porn addict, who about two months ago saw her wife in an adult film and since had started suspecting her of infidelity. Over the last two months, the accused, an auto-driver, harassed her wife over his suspicion.
The harassment got to a point where earlier last month, the victim had to be hospitalized following merciless beating by her husband. The harassment was followed by the accused stabbing his wife to death on Sunday in front of their children.
According to a The New Indian Express report, the eldest son of the couple alerted his grandfather, who upon arriving at the crime scene, found his daughter dead.

According to the National Commission of Women (NCW) statistics, there was a 46% rise in complaints of crimes against women in India between the period of January to August 2021 against the same period in 2020. As many as 19,953 complaints were filed between January to August in 2021, while the figure was 13,618 complaints in 2020 for the same period. Meanwhile, Karnataka reported as many as 350 such complaints with Bengaluru topping the list accounting to 62.2% of the total complaints from Karnataka.
Another alarming figure emerging from the state showed as many as 1,168 rape cases reported from January 2019 to May 2025. This makes it at least one rape every day. Furthermore, the state also registered 22 gang-rapes in the same period.

Over infidelity suspicion bred due to his porn-addiction, a man in Bengaluru reportedly stabbed his wife brutally in front of his own children earlier last week. The accused reportedly suspected his wife to have acted in an adult film, and based on his unfounded suspicion, he harassed her for months, and eventually murdered her.
Accused is a Porn Addict
The accused, 40-year-old Jaheer Pasha, reportedly murdered his wife by stabbing her multiple times in their Ramanagar residence earlier on Sunday. He works as an auto-driver and has been alleged to be a porn addict. The incident was brought to the authority’s attention after the couple’s eldest son alerted his grandfather, who in-turn filed a complaint at the police station.
Victim was Harassed for Last Two Months
The victim, 35-year-old Mubeena, was earlier a resident of Rehamaniyanagara and her husband has been reported to be hailing from Bengaluru’s Shammanna Garden. According to Ghouse Pasha, who filed an FIR, Jaheer used to beat Mubeena up and harassed her in the past two months after suspecting her to have acted in adult movie.
Mubeena was Hospitalized After Being Beaten Up Earlier
The couple had been parents of five children and had stayed together for the last 15 years before the horrific incident. While Jaheer’s act of violence can be considered an impulsive act, his prior violence against her wife says that there was an extreme amount of violence brewing inside him. About 20 days back, Mubeena had to be rushed to hospital after Jaheer beat her up over the same issue.
Jaheer’s husband Ghouse has been reported to have claimed of wanting to file a complaint against his son. However, he decided not to on Mubeena’s insistence. So far, it has not been reported whether or not the accused has been arrested.
