A horrific crime took place in Bhopal where a 6-year-old boy was abducted by a brother-sister duo and was strangled to death as revenge over property dispute. The young boy was strangled to death by a wire that the sibling duo used against him. The incident was reported from Jahangirabad locality in the state’s capital. The accused than stuffed the young boy’s body in a sack and took it to his sister’s place. The sibling duo was going to dispose the body off, but was nabbed by police who were acting on a missing person’s complaint. Reportedly, the accused brother-sister were the relatives of the deceased’s and killing him over old family rivalry.

According to National Crime Records Bureau, Madhya Pradesh is among the top three states in India with the highest crime rate in incidents pertaining to crimes against children. For 2018, 2019, 2020, the state has been in the top three states in crimes against children. While Uttar Pradesh tops the chart, Madhya Pradesh is ahead of Maharashtra. It should also be noted that crimes against children saw a significant drop in all the three states in 2020.
Meanwhile, in cases pertaining to Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra have the highest crime rate, while Madhya Pradesh is trailing behind the two states.
Although stringent punishments have been laid out for those who commit crimes against children, incidents involving such offences are more common than one would imagine.

The Facts of the Matter
A brother-sister duo from Bhopal showed that human depravity and hunger for revenge knows no end. The duo abducted a 6-year-old boy from Jehangirabad and strangled him to death with a wire.
According to Ankit Jaiswal, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, the victim was the son of Javed Khan, a tailor working in Jehangirabad. The deceased boy was identified as Fardeen, a class 1 student. Reportedly, Fardeen’s mother had taken to the police to file a missing person’s complaint for her minor son.
Fardeen Abducted While Playing Outside House
Fardeen’s mother claimed that he went missing while playing outside their residence. The police soon swung in action after filing the missing person’s complaint. The complaint was turned into an abduction case as the missing boy was a minor. The police then interrogated those who may have seen Fardeen before he went missing.

Police Gets Clues on Fardeen’s Abduction, CCTV Footage Analyzed
A minor boy told the police that he saw Fardeen going to a house that belonged to 18-year-old Farzan who was Fardeen’s neighbour. Meanwhile, the police also analyzed the CCTV camera footage around the locality. The footage showed Farzan entering an autorickshaw with a sack over his shoulder.
The police soon detained Farzan and took him for an interrogation. Like many criminals, Farzan first tried to misdirect the police. However, on further interrogation, he spilled the beans. He confessed that his sister Samrin had taken young Fardeen to a rented home in the Kalyan Nagar Chhola locality.
6-year-old Fardeen Found Stuffed in Bag
The police acted on the information and raided the rented home Farzan mentioned. In the rented home, the police recovered the same bag that they had seen in the CCTV footage. Stuffed inside the sack, the police found Fardeen’s dead body.
According to Additional DCP Ankit Jaiswal, the accused later revealed that 24-year-old Samrin resided separately from her husband due to some disputes. The police official further revealed that Fardeen’s mother and the accused are cousins.
Sibling Duo Killed Fardeen as Revenge Over Property Dispute
The accused took the horrific step of abducting and killing 6-year-old Fardeen as a revenge that stem from an old property dispute. He further revealed that the accused were going to dispose the body later at night, but were nabbed before they could do so.
The accused have been arrested and have been booked under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code.
