In a strange fight caught on cam, an Indore DSP lost his cool (and his towel) during a brawl with his neighbour over construction work. The entire incident was caught on a CCTV camera and its footage was later shared on social media platforms.

After being uploaded on social media, the video of the embarrassing brawl has been going viral, with netizens reacting to it in different ways. According to the reports, the DSP was upset over some construction work and hence, picked up a fight with his neighbour.

The fight reached to a point where the DSP was left fighting in his underwear, as his towel had dropped due to his, excessive movements, for the lack of a better phrase.

In India, a neighbour holds a special place in the lives of residents living peacefully in their homes. It’s often said that only the most fortunate ones get neighbours that are supportive and friendly. Meanwhile, stories of interfering, nosy, or plain aggressive neighbours are quite common.

For the most part, even if one gets a not-so-friendly neighbour, they don’t find themselves in a situation where they have a physical altercation with them. This is all the truer in localities where the most educated, elite and influential persons reside.

But what happens when even the most elite decide to fold their sleeves and resolve an issue the old-school style? Residents of a locality in Indore got to know this when a DSP picked up a fight with his neighbour.

The Facts of the Matter

In Indore’s Lakshya Vihar Colony a Lokayukta DSP had a full-blown physical brawl with his retired bank official neighbour. What made the brawl interesting was that the DSP for the most part of the fight was in a towel. However, when the towel slipped off the waist of the DSP, he continued the brawl in his underwear.

According to reports, a police complaint was registered by DSP Vedant Sharma against Sandeep Vij. In his complaint, Sharma complaint that Vij had an heated argument with him which transformed into a full-blown physical brawl.

In his complaint, Sharma also complained that he sustained injuries on his face as a result of the brawl. It should be noted that Sandeep Vij is a retired AGM (assistant general manager) of a government bank.

What Does the Video Show?

In the video gone viral, it can be seen that DSP Vedant Sharma attacked Vij first and Vij lands a few punches of his own. The altercation started on the premises of a home, and soon the two men were fighting right in the middle of street. Meanwhile, DSP Sharma, who was only wearing a towel, misses a few punches due to which his towel slips.

Meanwhile, Vij flees off and DSP Sharma gets into his home and comes out with a stick. He also goes on to chase Vij. A man in the middle of street seems to be enjoying the show and can be seen laughing at the matter.

What Was the Cause of Fight?

According to a Free Press report, DSP Sharma has claimed that renovation work happening at Vij’s home has been bothering him. DSP Sharma alleged that debris from Vij’s under renovation home is thrown outside his home. The DSP also added that he had requested Vij about the same before, but his appeals had gone in vain.

‘Tumhari Afsargiri Nikal Dunga’: Neighbour Gives DSP Threat

On the day the altercation occurred, DSP claimed that Vij threatened him and said “Tumhari afsargiri nikal dunga”. He added that his threat and rough language pushed him to a point that he manhandled him.

Meanwhile, Vij claimed that he had gone to DSP Sharma to apologize for all the inconveniences caused during the construction work. However, Vij claimed that the DSP attacked him instead of accepting his apology.
