In a shocking incident caught on cam, an Uttar Pradesh bride was seen slapping her groom twice as he garlanded her with the video of the incident gone viral on social media. According to an NDTV report, the incident took place during a wedding in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh.
In the video gone viral, a humble wedding can be seen taking place with the groom ready to put garland on her bride. The to-be-married couple is surrounded by friends and family and the venue can be seen hustling and bustling with activities.
Everything seemingly goes well till the groom moves to garland his bride. As he garlands her, the bride can be seen returning the gesture with two tight slaps on his face. As if on cue, the confetti cannon also goes off, adding to the chaos and confusion.
Meanwhile, after slapping the groom, the bride can be seen storming off the wedding stage. Reportedly, the family members intervened and the two sides somehow reached an agreement.

Thanks to a camera phone in almost everyone’s pockets, and internet connectivity now reaching to every corner of the country, such moments, that once used to be witnessed in private, are viewed by people from all across the world through social media.
In one such dramatic incident, a bride slapped groom twice as he garlanded her. The wedding, according to an NDTV report, was taking place in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur. So far, no reports have confirmed what the cause of the outburst on the bride’s end was.

What Did the Video Show?
The video captured just around the time of jaimala showed a groom and her bride surrounded by friends, family and relatives. The bride can be seen decked up in a bridal lehenga while the groom is wearing a traditional Indian outfit with a safa on his head.
Everything seems to be going according to the plan as the man is handed a garland, which he then proceeds to put on his wife to-be. However, things in an instant turned upside down when the bride, unprovoked, slaps the groom, not once, but twice.
Wedding guests can be seen witnessing the ordeal with shock on their face. Meanwhile, the bride without any explanation storms off the stage.

Family Intervened to Reach an Agreement
No reports have officially confirmed as to what caused the woman to act in such a manner. Further, the video is undated, and it has not been revealed whether the incident took place recently or in a distant past. However, an NDTV report stated that after the woman’s sudden outburst, the family intervened and the two sides somehow reached to an agreement.
As mentioned earlier, there’s no dearth of dramatic videos captured during Indian weddings. Earlier this year, another shocking video emerged on social media where one partner ended up slapping the other one during their wedding.

Unlike the Uttar Pradesh wedding though, in this incident it was the groom who slapped the bride. In the video gone viral, a groom, with a sullen look on his face tries to feed his bride sweets for the pictures. The bride turns away her face and this enrages the groom who throws the sweet on her face.
This irks the bride who also throws the sweet on the groom. The situation escalated so bad that the enraged groom ended up slapping the bride with the wedding guests all around them.
