CCTV footage captured a horrific incident in a housing society in Noida, where a security guard fell victim to a brutal assault over a parking dispute. The incident, which occurred at approximately 1:25 am on Thursday, unfolded in a residential society, and the video quickly went viral on social media platforms.

In the disturbing video clip, shared by news agency ANI on Twitter, two men can be seen entering the room of a security guard who was peacefully sleeping on a sofa. The unsuspecting guard is jolted awake by the commotion caused by the intruders, but before he can react, the two assailants mercilessly launch a barrage of punches at him.

Desperately attempting to defend himself, the guard struggles to break free from their grip. The assault intensifies as the two assailants continue their onslaught, delivering kicks to the defenseless security guard.

Once the footage went viral, the Media Cell of Gautam Buddh Nagar Police swiftly responded, acknowledging the incident and assuring action. According to their statement to ANI, the security guard was assaulted by two individuals embroiled in a dispute over parking.

Sharad Chandra, a resident of East Delhi’s Jagat Vihar, was identified as one of the attackers and subsequently apprehended by the police.

The most recent incident took place earlier on Thursday, sometime around 1.25 am. It should be noted that the incident comes after a trend of housing society residents assaulting security officers for trivial reasons has surfaced.

One Accused Arrested, Other on Run

Following the incident’s video going viral on social media platforms, the Media Cell of Gautam Buddh Nagar Police promptly responded. They confirmed to news agency ANI that the security guard had been assaulted by two individuals embroiled in a heated dispute over parking.

The police acted swiftly, apprehending one of the attackers identified as Sharad Chandra, a resident of Jagat Vihar in East Delhi. However, the search for the other assailant is currently underway.

Not First Such Incident from Noida

This distressing incident is not an isolated occurrence in Noida, as the region has witnessed similar instances of security guards being assaulted in the past. Just last year, in October, two women were arrested and charged for assaulting a security guard in a housing society situated in Noida’s Sector 121.

Similarly, in August of the same year, a woman was apprehended after a video of her abusing and manhandling security guards outside JP Wishtown Society in Sector-126 went viral on social media.
