Sonu Sood Extends Help to Bihar Girl Born with Four Legs and Four Arms, Wins Hearts Yet Again

Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood recently won hearts of netizens yet again after extending aid to a girl in Bihar who was born with eight limbs (four legs and four arms). Thanks to Sood’s humanitarian gesture, 2-and-a-half-year-old Chaumukhi has got a new lease on life as she has received the appropriate and timely medical attention and surgery that was needed in her complicated case. Sonu Sood took to Instagram and Twitter to share pictures of Chaumukhi receive the timely medical attention and captioned one of the tweets with – “Mera aur Chaumukhi ka safar safal raha (My and Chaumukhi’s journey turned out to be successful)”.

Reportedly, Nawada, Bihar’s Chaumukhi was born with an additional pair of limbs. The affected girl’s parents took to the SDO office to receive aid needed for Chaumukhi’s surgery. However, their attempts went in vain. The video of their plight and desperation somehow made its way to Sonu Sood and the actor, like he always does, swung into action.

Giving an update about the matter, Sood took to Twitter and shared good news with a caption that read – “One of the toughest surgeries of the country is successful”. No prizes for guessing, as netizens across the world lauded Sood for his gesture.

Chaumukhi’s Rare and Complicated Case

Two-and-a-half-year-old Chaumukhi is born with an extremely rare complication due to which she has four arms and four legs. The extra pair of limbs has caused immense complications in her life, and would have likely done more harm had it not been for Sonu Sood.

Thanks to social media, the plight of Chaumukhi’s parents caught the attention of the actor cum humanitarian. Sood quickly intervened in the matter and made sure Chaumukhi is sent to Surat for the extremely complicated surgery. The 7-hour-long surgery was scheduled on Wednesday, and thanks to all the prayers of netizens, and Sood’s timely effort, Chaumukhi is now on the road to recovery.

Sood took to Instagram and shared before and after surgery pictures of Chaumukhi. Along with the pictures, Sood shared a heartfelt caption that read – “Mera aur Chaumukhi Kumari ka safar kamyaab raha. Chaumukhi was born with four legs and four hands in a small village in Bihar. Now she’s ready to go back to her home after a successful surgery.”

Earlier, on May 28, Sood shared the first update of Chaumukhi’s treatment on Twitter. Taking to Twitter, Sood shared the picture of Chaumukhi receiving check up by a doctor. Sood captioned the video with – “Tension mat lijiyeilaajshurukarwadiyahai. Bas duakariyega (Don’t worry, treatment has started. Just pray)”.
