Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 73rd birthday on Sunday, September 17th. On this occasion, President Droupadi Murmu, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda and other dignitaries extended their best wishes to the Prime Minister.

President Murmu wished for PM Modi’s vision and strong leadership to pave the way for India’s development during the ‘Amrit Kaal’. Meanwhile, Amit Shah praised Modi as the architect of new India who has laid a strong foundation for a self-reliant nation.

BJP Launches Welfare Initiatives

To mark Modi’s birthday, the BJP has launched the ‘Sewa Pakhwara’ initiative that will organize welfare activities until October 2nd. The PM also launched the ‘PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana’ skill development scheme for artisans on Sunday.

PM Inaugurates Development Projects

Among the projects inaugurated by Modi were the first phase of the India International Convention and Expo Centre in Dwarka and the extension of the Airport Metro Express line. The Prime Minister participated in these events on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti.

Opposition Leaders Wish PM

Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge also extended their birthday greetings to PM Modi. While political leaders wished him good health and a long life, they praised his vision and leadership in developing the nation.
