Netizens were left impressed when an Assam YouTuber recently shared an inspiring story of a man who bought a scooter with bucket full of savings in coins. The YouTuber Hirak J Das recently took to Facebook and shared the inspiring story of the unidentified man fulfilling his dream of buying a scooter with his savings. The man was also caught in a YouTube Vlog shared by Das on his channel where he claimed that he put spare changes aside for a period of seven to eight months. After noticing that he had saved quite a sum, he took to a scooter showroom in Howly Assam and bought a brand-new bike. The man’s story backs up the age-old adage of a single drop coming together to form an ocean.
The Facts of the Matter
Often after making a purchase at the local grocery store, or after taking an auto ride, we roll our eyes on getting spare change. At a time when the entire world is transforming into a cashless economy, coins hold a strange value in all of our lives. However, a man from Assam has shown that if one saves coins given as spare change for a long period of time, a meaningful purchase can be made.

Assam YouTuber Learns Lesson in Savings
The man’s story came to light when Assam based YouTuber Hirak J Das took to his Facebook and shared his story. Asserting on the fact that he learned a valuable lesson in savings, Das shared pictures of the unidentified man at a showroom with bucket full of coins he had saved up.
“Today, a person bought a scooty from his savings at Alpana Suzuki dealers in Barpeta. One of the lessons to be learned from this is that although it takes a lot of money to fulfill a dream, sometimes that dream can be fulfilled with a little bit of accumulated wealth.”
Vlog Shows 3 Men Carrying Hundreds of Coins
The Assam based YouTuber also shared a video on his YouTube channel which captured the fascinating purchase that was made by coins. The video shows three men carefully carrying a sack full of coins to the showroom. Hundreds of coins are then emptied into plastic buckets. The video also shows the showroom staff coming together and making efforts to count the amount of money the customer had saved up and brought.

Assam Man Collected Coins For 7-8 Months
The video then shows the unidentified man signing the papers and receiving the keys of the scooter he bought thanks to his conscious saving. According to reports, the unidentified man revealed in the video that for about seven to eight months, he had been putting aside change to buy his dream two-wheeler. On realizing that he had come close to saving up enough to make the purchase, he took to the showroom in Barpeta district’s Howly in Assam.

Not the First Time Such Purchase was Made
It should be noted that this is not the first time a person made such a purchase with the power of conscious savings. Back in October 2019, a man in Madhya Pradesh bought a brand-new Honda Activa and the purchase was made through the coins he had saved up. The man, identified as Rakesh Kumar Gupta, bought the Rs. 83,000 worth Activa using coins that were of Rs. 5 and Rs. 10 denominations. Naturally, it took the showroom staffers about three hours to count all the coins.
