The notion of ‘like father-like son’ was recently proven true after Elon Musk’s 76-year-old father revealed having a secret child with his 35-year-old stepdaughter. The news comes just days after Elon Musk was reported to have fathered two children with the top executive of his firm Neuralink.
On Tuesday this week, Musk’s father, Errol Musk, revealed that he had a second child with his 34-year-old stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout three years ago. Further, Senior Musk also gave a reasoning behind his decision of being a father and was quoted in a The Sun report saying, “The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce”.
Errol Musk’s line of reasoning is shockingly similar to his son, who had recently taken to Twitter and said how he wants to “help the underpopulation crisis” by having children since he figures “a collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far”.

A few days after it was reported that Elon secretly became a father of two children, it was reported that his father Errol Musk also had a secret child. The 76-year-old Musk patriarch had a secret child with his own 34-year-old stepdaughter.

Errol Musk Claims We Are Put on Earth to Reproduce
If this makes you cringe, then wait till we tell you the way Errol Musk explained himself. On being asked more about becoming a father to a child with his own step daughter, Errol was quoted saying, “The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce”.
76-year-old Errol Musk welcomed a baby girl with his step daughter Jana Bezuidenhout back in 2019. It should be noted that the “couple” also shares a 5-year-old baby boy, Elliot, who was born in 2017.

“Big age gap”: Errol Musk on Not Living with Stepdaughter
Speaking to The Sun, Errol Musk claimed that his stepdaughter’s pregnancy was “unplanned” and that due to their 41-year age gap, they no longer live together. “So any man who marries a woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it’s going to be nice for a while. But there’s a big gap… And that gap is going to show itself,” he was quoted saying.
On Becoming Father of Stepdaughter’s Child
If the idea of having a child with one’s own stepdaughter freaks you out, you’re not the only one. The fact that Senior Musk fathered a child with his stepdaughter led to a falling out between Errol and his son Elon musk.
Further, Errol’s other children were also uncomfortable with the whole ordeal. In his interview to The Sun, Errol admitted saying, “They still don’t like it. They still feel a bit creepy about it, because she’s their sister. Their half-sister.”

The Musk family tree is complicated to say the least – and with the new report, it has gotten even more so. Elon Musk has 10 children and his father is falling behind, with 7 of his own. Errol Musk married Maye Haldeman Musk back in 1970 and had Elon, Kimbal and Tosca.
He then married Heide Bezuidenhout, who already had two children. With Heide, Errol again had two biological children. Add all of this with the two more children he had with Jana, and we have a total of seven children.
