Ahead of IPL 2023, Virat Kohli made an interesting revelation, saying that he sold most of the cars he had impulsively bought. The former-Indian team skipper’s astonishing claim came when he was at a photoshoot and gave a small interview, which was shared on his team Royal Challengers Bangalore’s YouTube channel.
While the fate of RCB during the IPL tournaments has been subject to much hilarity and jokes, its ace-player Virat Kohli is once again being looked as a player who will elevate the team at its most crunch moments. A motorhead in his own right, Virat Kohli is known for possessing a slew of expensive sports and luxury cars, and has been captured driving the most coveted cars on the roads in the recent history.
However, the 34-year-old recently said that he sold all of his impulse-purchase cars. “”Most of the cars I used to own were impulsive buys, and I ended up hardly driving or traveling in them as well. Beyond a point, I was like, this is pointless, so I ended up selling most of them, and now we only use what we absolutely need to,” he was quoted saying.
For the unversed, Kohli has been a proud owner of various Audis (owing to the fact that he endorses the automobile giant), along with Bentley and more.

However, to many’s surprise, the right-handed batter recently made a startling revelation about his car purchases.
Virat Kohli On Impulse Buys & “Practicality”
In a recent video shared by his team Royal Challenger’s Bangalore, the batter said that a lot of cars he bought were ought of impulse, and he decided to sell them.
“Most of the cars I used to own were impulsive buys, I ended up hardly driving or travelling in them as well. Beyond a point, I was like this is pointless, so I ended up selling most of them and now we only use what we absolutely need to,” he was quoted saying.
“I think it is also part of growing up and being more aware and mature about things as well. You don’t feel like owning ‘toys’ as such, it is about being practical,” he added.

Regarding his time with the team and his thoughts on the upcoming IPL 2023. “If I am able to get to the level I want to play at and help the team, it will be exciting,” he added.
