In a shocking incident reported from Mumbai, a woman reportedly killed herself at her boyfriend’s place after he had blocked her on WhatsApp. The deceased woman has been identified as 20-year-old Pranali Lokare. The incident occurred earlier on Sunday and the woman was found hanging in her boyfriend’s home earlier on Monday morning. The entire ordeal transpired in Mumbai’s Dahisar suburbs. The boyfriend in question resides in a house alongside the railway tracks.
Reportedly, the 20-year-old deceased woman and her 27-year-old boyfriend had been in a relationship for six months. On Sunday, the couple had attended a wedding together, after which the woman had asked her boyfriend if she could stay at his place overnight. The man didn’t accept the woman’s request and asked her to go to her home.
The same evening, the man started getting calls from her girlfriend who insisted on staying at his place overnight. The man asked her against coming to his place, claiming that several drug addicts roam in his locality at night. He went on to block her number on WhatsApp.
However, the woman still showed up and questioned her boyfriend why he blocked her on WhatsApp. Later, the woman stayed at his place and killed herself by hanging from the ceiling.
The Facts of the Matter
Love and desire, if channeled constructively, can do wonders in one’s life and help them grow. However, the same emotions can turn into toxic possessiveness if not worked on. Recently, a couple’s life changed for worse due to the same emotions. While the woman in relationship ended up losing her life, her boyfriend will be scarred for ages as he saw his girlfriend’s corpse hanging from ceiling at his own house.

Boyfriend Found Girlfriend’s Deceased Body
According to reports, a 20-year-old woman killed herself at her boyfriend’s Dahisar residence, Mumbai. The woman was reportedly upset as her 27-year-old boyfriend had blocked her on WhatsApp following a heated argument. The boyfriend found the deceased woman’s body hanging from ceiling earlier on Monday. The 20-year-old woman was identified as Pranali Lokare.
The Beginning of the End
As per the officials involved in the matter, the couple had been in a relationship for the last six months. Earlier on Sunday, the couple attended someone’s wedding together. Following the wedding, the woman insisted on staying the night at her boyfriend’s place.

Man Advises Girlfriend to Not Come Over
The man denied the woman’s request to stay at his place and asked her to go to her own home. While the woman did leave, she started calling her boyfriend and demanded to let him come to his place to stay the night. The man advised against the idea and told the woman that drug addicts roam around his locality at the night. He also blocked her number due to repeated calls and messages.
Woman Shows Up Upset Over Being Blocked
Despite the man’s warnings, the woman showed up at his house and asked him why he blocked her on WhatsApp. She went on to stay the night at her boyfriend’s place. However, later in the night she hanged herself using a ‘dupatta’ when her boyfriend had stepped out the house for some work.

“Girlfriend Was Possessive, Boyfriend Was Unhappy”
A Free Press report quoted inspector Anil Kadam saying, “We have seized mobile phones of the deceased and her boyfriend. Prima facie it appears that the woman was extremely possessive about her boyfriend and her boyfriend was unhappy with this possessiveness. They had also decided to get married.”
