In the concerning development regarding the Noida mall murder, a 30-year-old man is reported being murdered in a bar brawl over bill at the Gardens Galleria mall. The victim was reportedly attending an office party of the Lotus Lemon Bar.
At around 11 pm, the bar staff and customers locked horns over bill payment. The discussion turned into a heated argument and soon situation escalated to a point that the bar deployed its bouncers to take matters in their own hands. This was when the victim, identified as Brajesh, received fatal injuries on his head.
Although he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. After the incident, the police received an alert about the matter. Following the initial probe, the police filed FIR and have detained as many as 14 staffers of the bar. The body of the Bihar resident has been sent to postmortem and the police are confirmed to conduct thorough investigation.
The news comes just a day after Shikshanews reported another similar incident where a drug-fueled man killed a father-of-two with a single punch after the victim mistakenly stepped on accused’s foot.

Recently, a 30-year-old lost his life after he was at a bar brawl which erupted due to bill payment related issue. The victim, Brajesh Rai, hailed from Bihar, and was working for a company in Noida. Earlier on Monday, he was with his office colleagues at a bar in Gardens Galleria mall Noida.

Victim was at an Office Party, Brawl Erupted Over Bill
According to reports, the victim was attending the office party. At around 11 pm, the customers and bar staff locked horns over bill payment related issue. The discussion turned into argument and things escalated when the bar decided to invoke its bouncers to take matters in their own hand.
A brawl erupted between the bouncers and customers where Brajesh received fatal blows to his head. Brajesh was rushed to hospital following the altercation, however he was reported to have succumbed to his injuries.

What the Police Have to Say
The police were alerted following the altercation and as per the initial probe, they filed an FIR. News agency ANI quoted Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ranvijay Singh saying, “A man was killed last night in Garden Galleria Mall, Noida. Some people got into a fight with bar staff during which one person was severely injured. He was taken to hospital, where doctors declared him dead. FIR registered; bar staff is taken into custody.”
14 Persons Already Detained
According to a Times Now report, the Noida police have already detained as many as fourteen persons who were involved in the matter. Further, CCTV footage from the incident is also being analyzed to ascertain the roles of other accused involved.
Meanwhile, an FIR under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been filed, including Section 302 (punishment for murder). The victim’s body has also been sent for postmortem.

Earlier on Sunday, a youth was stabbed brutally on a busy street of Meerut. The attackers were allegedly the youth’s uncles who had an argument with him earlier over drinking alcohol. The deceased was identified as Sajid. The entire ordeal was caught on CCTV which showed the man being ambushed and stabbed while people on the streets going on about their day.
