Although it was clear that the actor was quite popular among his fans – winning multiple awards for being the best Bigg Boss contestant – the sudden emotional outburst from his fans across the nation proved to be the true testament of his popularity.

As grey clouds cover the entire nation with several regions witnessing downpour, it seems like even the sky is crying on the untimely demise of Sidharth Shukla. The Bigg Boss 13 winner and Balika Vadhu actor’s illustrious career was cut short yesterday due to a cardiac arrest that eventually became the cause of his demise.

The Facts of the Matter

On Friday, September 13, the last rites of Sidharth Shukla took place at the Oshiwara. As per a leading television daily Spotboye, the actor’s funeral was performed according to the Bramha Kumari rituals. While it was first reported that the actor’s dead body was going to be taken to his residence, it was soon revealed that it was directly sent to the crematorium for the last rites.

Inconsolable Shehnaaz Gill Bids Final Goodbye to Sidharth

On Twitter, several fan pages of Sidharth along with leading Bollywood and television dailies shared moment to moment updates of the late actor’s funeral. In several images, one could see his long-rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill crying profusely while making her way to the funeral.

Further, Sidharth’s funeral was attended by his Bigg Boss family such as Asim Riaz, Arti Singh, Nikki Tamboli, Sambhavna Seth and more. Other celebrities that were close to him such as Vikas Gupta, Prince Narula, Rakhi Sawant, Arjun Bijlani, Karanvir Bohra, Rahul Mahajan, Yuvika Chaudhary, Rashami Desai also looked devastated in the pictures that have been making rounds of the internet.

What did Sidharth’s Autopsy Report Say?

Meanwhile, Sidharth Shukla’s final autopsy was performed in Mumbai a day before his final rites. According to reports while there were no “external injuries” the actor sustained at the time of his death; his true cause of death hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.

According to an Indian Express report, the doctors at the Cooper Hospital – the hospital where Sidharth was taken by his family at the time of his death – have claimed that that certain relevant samples have already been sent to the forensic laboratory for examination.

Further, the doctors have also preserved Sidharth’s Viscera which will be helpful in finding out the actual cause of death.
