In a heart-wrenching turn of events, what should have been a joyous occasion turned into a scene of sorrow in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district. A wedding procession, making its way from Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh, met with a tragic accident, claiming the lives of 13 individuals, including four children.

On Sunday evening, around 8 pm, a tractor-trolley carrying a wedding party from Motipura village in Rajasthan was en route to Kulampur in Madhya Pradesh. The group, filled with excitement for the upcoming celebration, had no inkling of the tragedy that awaited them on Piplodi Road in Rajgarh district.
As the night settled in, their journey took a devastating turn. The tractor-trolley, reportedly overloaded and driven by someone under the influence, overturned. The incident, which should have been part of a happy memory, instead became a scene of desperation as people found themselves trapped beneath the overturned vehicle.

While 13 are receiving treatment at the district hospital in Rajgarh, two individuals with more severe head and chest injuries were referred to Bhopal for specialized care. Rajgarh Collector Harsh Dikshit reassured the public, stating that despite the severity of their injuries, the two patients in Bhopal are out of danger.
