The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has commenced the online registration process for recruitment to 300 posts of Staff Nurse Ayurved in the state’s Ayush department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the vacancies on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in till October 4, 2023.
Vacancy Details
Out of the 300 vacant posts notified, 48 vacancies are for Staff Nurse Male and the remaining 252 posts are for Staff Nurse Female. The recruitment exam aims to fill up the Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts that offer a pay scale of Rs 44,900-1,42,400 with a grade pay of Rs 4,600.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must have passed high school and intermediate exams, possess a diploma in Medical and Surgical Nursing (Ayurved), and a diploma in Midwifery (Ayurved). A registration certificate as Ayurved Nurse and Midwife issued by the Ayurvedic & Unani Tibbi Medicine Board of UP is also required. The minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 40 years as on July 1, 2023.

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 125 for unreserved/EWS/OBC category and Rs 65 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen. PWD applicants need to pay Rs 25 as processing fee.
Selection Process
Selected candidates will be appointed as Staff Nurse Ayurved in various district hospitals and government Ayurvedic hospitals affiliated to the Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Medicine, Uttar Pradesh. This is a good opportunity for eligible candidates to join the state health department.
