A gamer suffered consequences of saying that he “killed 2 people” to the 911 emergency service in US. He got surrounded by cops who pointed guns at him over his shocking admittance and was left shaking for hours after the ordeal ended. The cops who were rushed to the scene had no idea that the gamer had actually butt dialed 911 and had shouted that he “killed 2 people” when he was playing Rainbow Six Siege, an online tactical shooter video game.

As per security footage shared on Twitter, the gamer named ‘Elijah’ mistakenly butt-dialed 911 when he was playing the popular shooter game Rainbow Six Siege with his friend during an Xbox party. As gamers often do, Elijah had shouted out “I killed 2 people”, not knowing that he had dialed 911 by mistake and his words were being taken very, very seriously.

Assuming it to be a case of double homicide, a team of cops rushed to Elijah’s home in barely two minutes and pointed a gun at him. A shaken to the core Elijah explained that he was on “the game” and further said that he was all alone at his home.

Elijah’s friend took to Twitter and mentioned that he was shaking for the next four hours over a gun pointed at him.

For a gamer, nothing can be more sweat inducing than having their virtual world collide with the real world. Gamers across the world play games where they have to fight with the cops and evade them. However, what happens when a random mistake committed during a gaming session ends up in a gamer in front of cops pointing guns at him?

Canadian Gamer ‘Butt Dials’ 911

Elijah, a video gamer recently suffered the consequences of butt dialing 911. As if out of a comedy show, the moment Elijah butt dialed 911, he shouted that he killed two people. No, this was not his admittance of a double homicide, but his excitement over shooting two people in the popular shooter game “Rainbow Six Siege”.

CCTV Footage Shows Cops Pointing Gun at Gamer

Security footage surfacing on Twitter shows Elijah being forced to step out of his home as officers from Royal Canadian Mounted Police point their guns at him. A confused Elijah had no clue that they were responding to a 911 call about two people being killed at his property.

The young lad somehow managed to keep his composure, and can be seen assuring the cops that not only was this a huge mistake, but that he had actually ‘butt dialed’ his phone while playing a game. “I was playing the game and I, erm, butt dialed the phone. That was my bad. No, no, it’s only me home,” he can be heard saying.

“Was shaking for four hours”: Friend Gives Account of Incident

Elijah’s friend took to Twitter to demystify the entire ordeal. He said how he and his friend were playing Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox party when Elijah accidentally dialed the authorities who overheard their chat. Alarmed over the double-homicide situation, a team of cops rushed to the location in less than two minutes.

“I was in Xbox party while this happened they had AR to his head they thought it was a a double homicide, the cops showed up in less then two minutes he noticed his dog barking and he knew he had to walk outside,” Elijah’s friend wrote.

“After this accident he was shaking for four hours while the cops were searching his house. He was frightened for a gun being pointed at him for the first time. The officer asks while detailing Elijah, ‘Who’s your favourite operator?’”, the note further read.
