In a tragic turn of events reported from Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, a wedding turned into a funeral, after a gas cylinder explosion killed 5 people, including the groom and kids barely aged 4 and 5-year-old.

The gas cylinder explosion took place at a house where wedding festivities for a groom, identified as Surendra Singh, were taking place. The house which got engulfed in flames, and charred hopes, dreams and happiness of many wedding invitees, was located at Bhungra village.

Sometime around 2.30 pm on Thursday, Surendra Singh’s wedding procession was about to start from his home. Before the house was left empty and the wedding procession could make some distance, a gas cylinder leak led to explosion of multiple cylinders. As per a Dainik Bhaskar report, the house where the incident took place, was of three families, where the cylinders were lying exposed. At a time when food was being prepared, a leaked gas surfaced from the front and back side of the house, to trigger an explosion.

Tragically enough, the cylinders were kept at the main entrance, which meant that no one could leave or enter the place when the explosion rocked the house.
