An unfortunate accident took place on Sunday evening at a tourist site near Indore when a car suddenly rolled into a pool, trapping a 12-year-old girl inside. Both her father and nearby onlookers rushed to her aid, diving into the pool in a bid to rescue her. Both the girl and her father were taken out of the pool and are now receiving treatment at a private hospital. The accident took place in Ghat, about 20 km away from Simrol, with a video of the incident appearing the next morning.

The police reported that a family of three had gone for a walk near the Lodhiya Kund, situated 10 kilometers inside the Simrol Ghat. The father had parked the vehicle, without applying the hand-brake, leaving his wife and 12-year-old daughter seated in the car. However, due to the slippery conditions, the car started rolling towards the pool. In a desperate move to save his daughter, the man jumped into the pool behind the car. Screams arose from the accident and the mother began pleading for help from the onlookers. Swimming to the aid of the girl and her father, bystanders were able to pull them out of the pool. Afterward, an ambulance rushed the pair to the hospital.
