On Sunday, popular television actor Vaishali Thakkar killed herself in Indore and in the preliminary investigation shocking discovery was made in the form of a suicide note Thakkar left behind. The 29-year-old actor died by hanging herself at her Indore-based residence earlier on Sunday. Vaishali had been reportedly living in Indore since the last one year.
After her body was discovered, the Tejaji Nagar police station registered a case and an investigation was initiated in the matter. The cops recovered a suicide note which alleged that her neighbour was harassing her for a long time. The neighbour, identified as Rahul Navlani is a businessman and has been absconding.
Further, a love-affair angle is also being suspected, and for now the cops are investigating the incident from all the angles.
A Hindustan Times report quoted Asst Commissioner of Police Moti Ur Rehman telling ANI – “Rahul was Vaishali’s neighbour and the suicide note indicates that he used to harass Vaishali, because of which she took such an extreme step. She was about to get married to another man and Rahul troubled her for that. The police are currently investigating the case.”
Earlier in April 2021, Vaishali announced her engagement with a Kenya-based surgeon Dr. Abhinandan Singh. However, barely a month later, it was reported that the marriage was called off.

On Sunday, October 16, popular television actor Vaishali Thakker died of suicide. The 29-year-old actor was seen in Star TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ where she gained popularity by playing the role of Sanjana Singh. She was also part of other shows including Sasural Simar Ka, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and more.

Cops Found Vaishali Hanging
According to reports, the 29-year-old took the grave step at around 12.30pm, on Sunday. The residents in the vicinity of her Indore-based home alerted the police. Soon, a team of cops came to the residence and opened the door of her home, only to find her hanging from the ceiling fan.
A PTI report quoted police officer RD Kanwa saying, “She was rushed to MY Hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival. The body has been sent for postmortem. A suicide note was found in her room but its contents cannot be divulged now as it is a matter of probe”.

Suicide Note Reveals Shocking Details
Hours after the incident, more details about the alleged suicide note surfaced. An official involved in the investigation said that Vaishali claimed to be stressed for some time and alleged being harassed by her neighbour Rahul Navlani, a businessman.
News agency ANI quoted ACP Moti Ur Rehman saying, “Rahul was Vaishali’s neighbour and the suicide note indicates that he used to harass Vaishali, because of which she took such an extreme step. She was about to get married to another man and Rahul troubled her for that.”
Rahul Navlani, the Indore-based businessman who is now being alleged of abetting the actor’s suicide, is absconding. Rahul allegedly fled from his residence and the cops are making efforts to locate him and then question him regarding his involvement.
