As per a new video going viral, the man who allegedly vandalised DCW chief Swati Maliwal’s home, was caught dancing on ‘Chaar bottle vodka’ at a Delhi Police Station. The development comes days after Maliwal took to Twitter and claimed that unidentified person broke into her home and vandalised two cars parked near it. Maliwal also added that she and her mother were not at home when the accused individual broke in and did the vandalizing acts.
In a tweet translated from Hindi, Maliwal wrote – “Just a while back, some intruder entered and attacked my house. I and my mother’s cars were vandalised badly and he also tried to enter the house. Thankfully my mother and I were not at home, otherwise, I don’t know what would have happened! Whatever you do, I will not be afraid.”
She also wrote to Sanjay Arora, Delhi Police Commissioner, and said how windshields of her cars were broken, and other parts of the cars were damaged as well. She added that some laboureres who were present when the intruder tried to break in, saw him carrying a knife.
A day after the incident, a video surfaced showing the alleged accused of the incident dancing on ‘Chaar bottle vodka’ at the police station. Many netizens speculated that the accused is mentally ill.
The Facts of the Matter
Delhi Commission for Women’s Chief Swati Maliwal often takes to Twitter to share cases of blood-curdling violence against women, and tags various ranked officials, insisting them to take cognizance of the matter. Her actions often make her target of people, who regularly threaten her on social media.
However, a virtual threat became real when a vandalizer tried to break in her home, and vandalised her and her mother’s car. As she and her mother were not present at the incident, they were safe from any untoward incident.

Swati Maliwal Writes to Delhi Commissioner
In a letter to Commissioner of Police, Sanjay Arora, Swati wrote – “It is very shocking and disturbing for me. Thankfully I and my family were not home so he was not able to harm us. I have lodged a complaint with Delhi Police. Any threat or attack will not stop me from performing my duty. I shall continue to work fearlessly and actively on issues related to women’s rights and shall not allow any vested interests to deter me from doing my statutory work.”

Accused Caught Dancing on Chaar Bottle Vodka
Meanwhile, a day after the incident, a video surfaced showing the alleged accused of the case dancing on ‘Chaar bottle vodka’, at a Delhi police station. The now-gone viral and troubling video shows the accused dressed in blue shorts and floral shirt dancing on the popular Honey Singh song.

Vandalizer ‘Mentally Ill’, Netizens Think Otherwise
According to reports, the 30-year-old accused, identified as Sachin, is mentally ill and was detained earlier on Monday. A resident of Nathpura, Sachin was sent to Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences to be further interrogated.
Meanwhile, netizens on Twitter are speculating that the accused man is faking mental illness in order to evade the consequences of his actions.
