Indian online retail market players & toughest rivals in the online trade, Flipkart & Amazon are all set to host the biggest online annual sales. The competition is so intense that both of them have chosen the dates 29th September to 4th October for hosting their sales.
Flipkart’s Big Billion Days & Amazon’s Great Indian Festival is amongst the most awaited events of the year. Both the companies have been teasing about the top deals, never-before-seen discounts, latest products launch and much more.
Flipkart’s official site tells that it will be hosting sales of Fashion, TV & Appliances, Home & Furniture, Beauty, Toys, Smart Devices & related Product sales from 29th September to 4th October. However, the sale of Mobile Smartphones, Tablets, Gadgets, related accessories & every other product on Flipkart will commence from 30th September.
Flipkart has further provided an option to the subscribers to become a Flipkart Plus Member and get 4 hours early access to the sale. However, if we look at Amazon’s Great Indian Festival sale, the Prime members will get access to the sale by 28th September noon which is 12 hours earlier.
They have also hosting event sales in between these 5 days. Crazy Deals will be available from 12 AM, 8 AM & 4 PM on every Big Billion Day. During ‘Maha Price Drops’ you can get up to extra 20% off on Clothing, Beauty, Home Décor & more. Every hour there will be flash sales which will within seconds and will have the best deals & discounts. Further, on every big billion days, there will be rush hours from 12 AM to 2 AM. The combo deals will give you the option to buy multiple product combinations and get up to extra 15-20% off on your bill amount.
Coming to other products, Flipkart will be exhibiting some of the rarest special edition products which will be available for a limited time. Many new mobile phones will be launched during the event and that too at best values. Flipkart has revealed that it will offer some of the devices at discounted prices including the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, Realme 3 Pro, Redmi Note 7S and the Apple iPhones.
Big Billion Days will yield amazing offers for the TV & related appliances & 75% off on new purchases, along with low-cost EMI’s for up to 36 months. Electronic appliances & accessories like Camera, Laptops, earphones, etc will have up to 90% off. Fashion & Clothing will also discounts ranging from 10% to 90%.
Flipkart also has 14 of its home brands listed for the sales where it will offer up to 90% discount. These brands offer 2 lakh plus products from 350+ categories. You can book flight tickets from Flipkart Travel and can get Big Billion Day discount offers up to Rs. 25000/-. Apart from this, there are several bank specific discounts as well. E.g. you can get instant 10% off on everything if you pay using Axis Bank credit & debit cards or ICICI banks credit cards.
Amazon, on the other hand, is offering No cost EMI’s to the debit card users along with credit limits of up to Rs. 1 lakh.
Coming to the mobile phones Amazon is offering discounts of up to 40% off & Rs. 6000 off on exchange deals. Mobile phones including Samsung M30s, Vivo U10, Mi A3 and the OnePlus 7T are some of the newly launched phones that will be available on its platform during the sale.
Further, Up to 60% or Rs. 40,000 off on electronic devices and appliances including laptops, smartwatches, DSLRs, earphones, speakers etc. 75% off on TV & home appliances & 80% off on Kitchen related appliances. Like Flipkart, Amazon is also offering up to 90% off on Fashion brands.
Amazon has opened its FMCG products like beauty, self-care, health, daily food, ration etc products for the lowest prices ever. Amazon also has a range of its products and brands which will have up to 80% off discount offers.
Further, both the e-retail giants have promised assured gifts to the customers. Flipkart will be giving away surprise gifts which it has not yet revealed. Amazon will give away Amazon Coupons to the customers.
Every year, both the companies chose the festive season to lure customers in. However, the rivalries of these two companies escalate the offers and discounts to newer heights every year. Every single customer stays happy because who wouldn’t want low prices, special edition products, amazing exchange & discount offers with assured gifts.
