Irked with their alcoholic son’s regular harassment, a family in Telangana paid Rs 8 lakhs to hitmen to eliminate their son. The matter came to the fore after locals spotted the body of the 26-year-old deceased’s body floating in a water body. A case was registered in the matter, and during investigation, it was revealed that the deceased’s own parents were involved in his death.
The accused in the matter includes the deceased’s parents, two uncles, and three other family members. The parents were identified as Kshatirya Ram Singh and Rani Bai while their 26-year-old deceased son was identified as Sai Ram, an unemployed college drop-out who was allegedly harassing them regularly.
Kshatriya Ram Singh is reportedly a principal of government school in Mahabubabad’s Maripeda Bangla village, Telangana. In their statement to the police, the parents alleged that their son used to abuse and beat them up when they didn’t shell out money for him to sustain his alcoholism. The family also claimed that they had sent him to a rehab centre, to no avail.
Earlier on October 18, the hitmen hired by the accused took Sai Ram in the family car to a temple where all had liquour, and Sai Ram was then strangled to death. His body was dumped in Mui River.
The Facts of the Matter
For a parent, nothing could be arguably worse than seeing their children get trapped by drugs and alcohol abuse. While some make an effort to set their child straight by sending them to rehab centres, others look the other way and hope for the best. In a shocking incident however, a family suffering from their alcoholic son’s harassment, paid Rs 8 lakhs to hitmen to eliminate their son.
The incident was reported from Telangana’s Khammam. The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Sai Ram, while his parents were identified as Ram Singh and Rani Bai. Ram Singh is reportedly the principal of a government gurukul. To see through the horrific plan, the parents also roped in the deceased’s uncles, and other family members.

Deceased was Unemployed Alcoholic
As per the couple’s statement in questioning, the deceased Sai Ram was an unemployed college dropout, who allegedly used to abuse and beat his parents up. The deceased man used to harass his parents for not shelling money so that he could sustain his alcoholism.
Frustrated with the ordeal, the parents also made sure that he got admitted to a rehab centre. But their efforts were to no avail. Eventually, they decided to take their own son’s life to get out of the vicious circle of getting abused and harassed.

Family Ropes in Hitmen, Promises to Pay Rs 8 Lakhs
To eliminate their son, they roped in Rani Bai’s brother Satyanarayana, who coaxed other accused identified as R Ravi, D Dharma, P Nagaraju, D Sai and B Rambabu. The couple paid Rs 1.5 lakhs to the accused in advance, and promised to pay the remaining Rs 6.5 lakhs three days after they kill their 26-year-old son.
Body Spotted, Investigation Kicks Off
On October 18, the accused got Sai Ram in a family car and traveled in Kallepalli where they had more to drink. The accused then strangled Sai Ram to death, and dumped his body in Musi river. It was only after the locals spotted the body of Sai Ram, that a case was registered and an investigation was launched.
Police Gets Suspicious of Family
During the investigation, the cops analyzed the CCTV footage around the spot where the deceased’s body was found. The cops spotted the movement of the deceased’s family car. The police suspected foul play from the family, as they registered no missing person’s complaint.
The couple were then brought into questioning, where they spilled the beans.
